Dyspraxia

I tried to contact the Dyspraxia Association of Ireland for a friend of mine regarding meet ups/groups and the services they offer. I was emailed by a guy called "Harry" who replied that he would love to send me information the following week (I emailed on the weekend). It's a month later and I never got a word back. So I tried ringing and I have not been contacted either.

Has anyone else experienced this with Dyspraxia Association of Ireland?

I find it really disappointing and unprofessional especially when my friend needs help and support. Won't be contacting them again.

I think, if you'll look into it, that the Dsypraxia Association is a shoe-string operation, run mostly by volunteers and maybe a part-time employee. Have you tried looking for the information yourself? Or emailling them again?

Most charities are small and nothing on the scale of the Bad Charities that overpay their executive staff. Most of them run because of the time and - often - money that the volunteers put in, out of the goodness of their hearts. They then have to go and fundraise, in order to provide for people in need. They operate to fill gaps in health service provision, and we are very grateful that they exist.

Oh, and please don't revive threads that are 5 years old. Thank you. JC

I think you should. There could be any number of reasons they did not get back to you in time. Don't give up.
