    Heys Guys,
Basically some guys were doing some work up in the attic a few weeks back and may have damaged the aerial cable(I think) coming down to the main tv in house. Now all the other tv's with with the aerial coming down to them for saorview are working fine.
But the way it is atm we have freesat on the main one but have to go elsewhere to watch rte,not a big deal for me as I don't watch a whole lotta tv but some ppl don't want to be moving to go watch their fair city :pac:.
Anyway to sum up is there some sort of magic eye device than be put on one of the other tv's to pick up their channel on the main one?
    Thanks

Is it possible to trace the cable in the attic and maybe repair it, if damaged? This would be the best option.

How is the aerial split to the different TVs?

It probably is possible to trace it,just very awkward.
I think there's some splitter in the attic for the 3 connections.
Actually I don't know what it is,a box with the aerial on the input and 3 outputs for the various rooms,I'll go up and check I guess.

Take a picture and post it. Presumably your TV in the main room worked previously and the cables to the point in the wall are secure and that TV. What type TV do you have.

Tv is a Toshiba Regza,we've had it a good while now at this stage.Cables are secure,I even changed the cables and the saorview box with different ones to check but the same result.

I assume the amplifier is plugged in and working? Can't make out the make and model no.

Have you tested the feed to the main room at each amp output with the other feeds disconnected?

Well, the no. 3 output looks damaged: some clumsiness on the part of the guys doing the work in the attic? Then they just plugged the cable into no. 4 instead?

Maybe 1 of the adjacent outputs has also been affected or, the plug on the cable that was in no. 3.

I presume its working correctly as we're able to watch rte,tv3 etc on one of the tv's its connected too.
The only other additional writing on it is a power and gain rating,a warning and a line that says "Cat no.T103A(4way)
The only testing I did was switching around of the cables so for example I knew the TV2 output and cable was working, that cable was tried on all the other inputs and they worked fine, then I tried the TV1 input cable(the suspected broken one) on the TV2 input and it didn't work there(the tv lost its signal),I didn't disconnect any of the other feeds while doing this though

Unfortunatley not,I did the damage to the number 3 output when I was checking the cables
