How long does it take to get Learners Permit after passing theory?

Just wondering how long does it take to get your actual learners permit card once you've passed your theory test and submitted all relevant documentation etc?

Officially 8 working days. However, it will most likely be a little longer as they don't appear to have started meeting their target yet (though it's getting better than it was).

I handed in my documents to get my permit renewed in Santry two weeks ago, it arrived today. I was impressed, I'd heard it would be 6 weeks
