matching amp to speakers..help!

looking at buying new tops and bins for the band... they are 500rms/800peak each @ 8ohms.. 4 speakers in total, two each side. At what ohms do I need to match the amp and at what power for best sound and longevity of speakers? Thanks in advance for any advice

Feed them a little over RMS rating for headroom.
