    Well lads n ladies,

Im looking at buying a jap import corolla. Are parts harder to get for them being an import or are non-import parts interchangeable.?

Ive had no issues with getting parts for my JDM Integra. I have a friend who had an import Supra and who said that Toyota were brilliant to deal with for parts, advice etc.

I have heard about lads having problems with getting parts for really rare cars (stuff that wasnt sold here and would be very rare to see imported), but for something like a Corolla I dont see that you would have much of an issue with parts.

Cheers for clearing that up for me.

just out of curiosity, you wouldn't know anything to look out for when buying a ae101 corolla.? bad areas prone to rust etc..,.

You wont have any problems in getting parts, depending on what model it is alot of the Irish spec corolla parts will be okay

as far as i know the ae101's are fairly bullet proof
