Right lads just wondering how to control d clutch properly In a petrol bora as when driving in first gear with clutch at biting point the car is shuddering and conks out no matter how slow I cone off the clutch...instructors fiesta is easier you come straight off the clutch slowly with the bora you habe to hold it for ages maybe im just not giving her enough welly

Revvy little so-and-so, I expect. A little more gas.

Practice. That's all there is to it.

All/most cars will actually start moving without revs if you are gentle enough on the clutch. So try this on level ground:
Take foot fully off accelerator and bring clutch up until you can feel it biting. Engine noise will change and car will struggle a bit. Hold this for a few secs then ease your right foot onto the acc and tap it a tiny bit. You can feel car wanting to go but experiment with the biting point.
Most learners are eager to "shoot off" and this is why the car stalls.
It will be like a hill start but on level ground.

The biting point on your bora is lower then the Fiesta. If it is shuddering, it's probably already passed the bite.

This is the way I practise I find the biting point no bother and she goes without any gas but then I give her a little gas and I slowly try to bring my foot fully of the gas but she shudders as soon as you start bringing it off as if it's going to cut out but I never tried it as I was driving with people behind me so I just went straight into second or kept d clutch at biting point in first
