Can't get Logik bluetooth keyboard to connect

    I recenty purchased a Logik LKBUBT13 bluetooth keyboard for my Asus tablet. It has problems initially connecting and it then disconnects after not being used for a few minutes. Looking around the net I found a number you have to type in and then it puts up a passkey/PIN on the screen, I then type it in and everything works. Is this the only way this keyboard will work? I hope not, don't want to go through this procedure everytime.
