Limerick is a flat county and as a result a lot of neighbouring stations are able to reach Limerick. Obviously not all of the above are available clear across the city but should be on a decent radio. The fact Limerick is so flat means less relays and so more distant stations aren't blocked by relays clogging up the band.

There's no pirate radio station in Limerick to my knowlege, the last one I saw there was an unidentified one on 106.0 that could be received 30 miles from the city.

Mention of Limerick Legends on the Radio........what ever became of Michael Mc Namara (Micky Mac) - he used broadcast on 2 FM from the studios there many years before Will Leahy?
