The main purpose of these Women's Commission Training Days is to encourage more women to race - and this aim is being realised, with more clubs than ever running stand-alone women's races on the 2014 CI calendar.

To this end, we (the Women's Commission) are running two routes around Nenagh for this Training Day and both are race routes for the Visit Nenagh Classic .... the stronger group on the day will train on the 67km lap of the VNC road race, the less strong group will use the VNC TT route for their coached training spin on the day.

Members of North Tipp Wheelers are kindly providing support on the road on the day, and the organiser of the Visit Nenagh Classic will also be on hand to provide advice. Post spin showers, and a light lunch will be provided (at The Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh), and by subsidising this training day with our CI budget we have kept the cost of all of this down to €10 per participant.

    Now, the weather....

Still some place available on this training day. This is the final of four winter training camps we've held this season - the previous ones were in Naas, Bray and Castlebar. This will be the only one in the Munster region, and we're looking forward to meeting new faces on the day!

Details and sign-up here http://womenscycling.ie/trainingday4/ - please pass around to local clubs/riders who might be interested. Thanks!
