Facial Moisturiser for Extremely Dry Skin

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a face moisturiser for skin that really needs moisture. I have the kind of skin that if I don't lace on cream within 5 minutes of being in contact with water it starts to feel like it's cracking!

I have used Astral for years (I know it's awful tack). I have just gotten a sample of Clarins moisture surge but after applying it twice in the space of a minute I still had to put on Astral to relieve that dry cracking feeling.

Any suggestions of another cream that might work?

Try the Nivea creme, the thick stuff that comes in a blue tub. It looks like this:

It's very thick, but my Mum used it for all her life - she had skin like yours if she didn't, OP, especially on her arms. But she had amazing skin on her face. I'm not as bad, but still get very tight skin if I don't use it right away after a shower/ face wash. There have been a bunch of "studies" done and the nivea creme usually outperforms stuff like Creme de La Mer. I've tried piles of different moisturisers but this stuff is the business and it's cheap as chips!!

Yeah I think I have used this in the past and found it good, I might give it another shot. I just find the Astral leaves me looking wicked greasy looking! Thanks baby and crumble :)

    Cheap is always good ;)

How about Rosehip oil-really gentle on your skin, doesnt leave a greasy look and very moisturising!
