VBA application.calculate not working for all cells

    Hi,

    I have a block of code that essentially goes like
    sub dostuff()

        ...some code

        application.calculateFullRebuild

    End Sub

    There is one cell containing the following formula that does not recalculate when the macro is finished and instead shows a #value error:

    =FIND("TR", CELL("filename")

    If I then manually refresh again after the macro is complete, the cell reculates no problem. Saving the workbook before the recalculate doesn't solve the problem.

    Any ideas?

    Did you turn off automatic calculations? As in:

    Application.Calculation = xlManual

    If so, you should turn it back to auto at the end of your method.

    PS: I think your code is wrong. From memory it should be Application.Calculate
