    or slightly less...

Ras UCD on 5th April and I need to get some speedwork done. Have a decent base from Donadea. The only 6 week plans I can find are either for absolute beginners or top out at 30 miles a week.

Can anyone recommend a decent plan ?

If you have Daniel's book he has a table which tells you which 6 weeks to take.

VO2 max allied to shorter reps for leg speed are probably key. I started writing out more detail but quickly realised that I was rewriting Daniels. Let me know if you haven't got access to the book and I'll go look for my copy.

Thanks! I think I may have it at home. Is it called Running Formula ? If so, I do have it. I guess I should have thought of that first :o

Just get your arse down to the sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

5 or 6 weeks of that and you'll be flying - especially the Tuesday track sessions - 12 x 400, 6 x 800, 8 x 600 and variations therein - chasing down the lads in front of you will keep it honest.

do you think they'd delay the start of the sessions til about 7:30 ? ;)
