Four months ago I fitted an Insert Stove to the fire place in my sitting room - I'm happy with same but have now decided to knock a wall and open up the sitting room into the kitchen. I would now like to take out the Insert Stove & open up the Fireplace and fit a free standing stove. Can someone please advise if this is a big job - I don't have a chimney breast in the room - the fireplace is flush on the wall - it backs on to a fire place in my front room which has a chimney breast.

I know you will think I am mad and should have done this in the first place......but please tell me if this is a big job to correct.

I would really appreciate if someone could advise me!!
