Lectures introducing Islam

I'm not sure if this thread is the correct place to post this (apologies if it isn't), but if people are genuinely interested in Islam, a series of free lectures will be coming up at the Lantern Centre on Synge St in Dublin next month:
    Encounter with Islam Series

The following lectures are designed as an introduction to the world
of Islam for those who have Muslim neighbours, work colleagues or
customers. They will be introduced by Christian and Muslim speakers, all
of whom have lived in Ireland and in Muslim countries for many years.

From what I've been told, the talks are intended to provide information about Islam to facilitate intercultural and interreligious dialogue as opposed to proselytism. More information is here.

Moved from Ask about Islam thread.

I think it warrants it's own sticky.
