Try the high limit stat. It's on the temp stat in the boiler. Usually a little black cap you screw off and then press the little white nipple sticking out

What boiler is it fitted to? Burner error codes are only on the Riello RDB control boxes but they are light flashing codes!

The new indoor ones have Shane. I've only seen ever seen 2 so far. Little digital display on front panel.

I was kinda bypassing the whole code thing Shane. Thought the customer got it wrong. Just sounds like the boiler was hot then power failed and boiler overheated

Honestly did not know that. Any details, brochures, links, etc.?
I knew the digital control box was out a while but they were having some issues with it.
The post purge was really an advantage for sooty environmax's which is a good thing.

None on firebirds website yet, must be a very recent addition. The last one I saw was a warrenty call about a month ago. Was brand new boiler and the fuel pump failed. Was an error on a digital display similar to the digital time clock on the old indoor warmflow boilers. Cant remember what the code was but I do know the customers manual had a list of codes.

Seen them in FB, not in the flesh, think they were mainly for the UK market

BTW, condensate trap looks like it needs a good clean out!

Very odd DGOBS that it doesn't appear in any online manuals?

Think the fault codes that appear are pretty basic. One is burner fault which can be anything and the other is thermostat fault. Which can be thermostat or water pump. In this case it was high limit.

    You bet me to it.
I was just about to reply.
To the right of digital display is two flat grey buttons, second one has a tiny hole for a pen tip to reset it. If it keeps tripping, normally due to burner lock out.
Plug out burner cable, reset lockout, reset digital panel, plug burner back in, if it keeps locking out, repeat as above till you have diagnosed in the normal way what the burner fault is.
If it trips with burner cable plunged out check elsewhere, pump or stat.
It baffled me for a while when I first came across one. I've only ever seen 3.

Ive fitted two of them this year already but only 3 the whole of last year, I like them. The reset is in a pin hole in the front fascia as said above. Too small IMO.
