Right lads we have 100 short days left until the big one, 100 days to create the person you want to be. As you have been told hundreds of times the LC is a marathon not a sprint and it is so true. It is now where people slack off on studying(after the mocks) and not reach their real potential but it is also where the high grades can be made if you stick at the work. So when you open that envelope in August make sure you know that the results you have achieved are the best you could have done.
Here are a few videos to push you if you're finding it hard to get back into study after your week off and remember to REACH YOUR POTENTIAL.

That's a very interesting take on the Leaving Cert - can't say that I agree with everything you said but I can't argue your perspective, everyone has their own.

The videos are pretty inspirational I must say. The second video has some sections of this full speech which I'd recommend in and of itself - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HutvJgpjDgU

Hunker down for three months, it may be the difference between failure and success.

Just to add, not doing as well as you thought in the Leaving Cert doesn't mean the end of the world. There are many ways of getting into what you want to do. Don't let the results stop you from doing what you want to do in life. The exam is important and all the hard work will pay off mind. Just bear that in mind.

Long answer short - hours, upon hours. Focus on everything. I don't understand why people seek for some sort of shortcut to achieve amazing results.

-Focus on things guaranteed or very likely to come up. I don't know what subjects you're doing but for example in chemistry the first 3 questions are guaranteed to be experiments.

-Exam papers are your best friends. Revise something, go to the papers and see can you do questions.

-I personally would revise what Exo said about hours to put in focus. 1-2 focused hours is more valuable to me personally than 3-4 hours during which your mind is elsewhere.

Best of Luck :) by the way we had a study skills guy in at the beginning of the year he reckoned 4 hours a night after christmas but if you can't manage start smaller and build. Personally I do about 3.5 on average :P
