Reshafting clubs

    Just wondering If someone can help me here. I have bought a set of Titleist AP2 irons and would like to get them reshafted with Project X 5.5 rifle shafts. I am using Taylor Made MC irons with the Project X 5.5 Rifle shaft and find the flight of the ball is lower and holds it flight better than the Dynamics S300 that are currently in the Titleist AP2's which I got second hand a few weeks ago. The flight of the ball at the moment with the AP2's is too high and I am losing about 5 to ten yards in distance.They are eight months old and were used by a 1 handicapper. I am looking to see who I can go to around the Dublin area and also roughly how much are you talking about. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Someone playing off +1 may well have got them custom fitted for himself. In which case the loft and lie may not be suitable to you. You might be better off getting them fitted to suit you before changing shafts. At the very least you should only change one iron Shaft, say a 5 or 6 iron and see does it give you the results you desire.
    If you go to any of the big Golf stores or a local Club pro they will be able to sort you out.

    Do you want the shafts swapped i.e. from the MC's to the AP2's?
