Like oiling it or drying any particular areas prone to rust? It's a giant, racer

    Thanks!

If its a giant it'll be aluminium so frame won't rust, moving parts should oiled.

Completely the drivetrain and cables, and apply a tiny amount of oil to both

By drivetrain I mean all these bits, an old sock would be perfect

Any particular type of oil recommended?

This is the one I prefer, available at Halfords. It has the right stickiness and viscosity to stay on in the rain, but does not allow crud to stick to the chain when you apply the right amount.
