    Have you ever heard where a financial advisor advises a couple just before they split up and is now advising the husband on family law and told the wife that he would ruin her

    Any financial advisor that advises on marital law is a fool and has a bigger fool as a client. If what you say is true the wife in question needs professional legal advice and not information from posts here.
