Ideally you should use a specialist turbo trainer tyre as regular tyres can get very hot on the turbo (thereby shortening their lives considerably). For short spurts it may not be too bad, but a lot of regular turbo users use a spare wheel simply to avoid the hassle of changing tyres

I use an old tyre which I slit. the turbo really wears down your tyre quickly.
If you can find a second hand complete wheel nearby then buy it cos changing tyres every time is a bit of a pain, But certainly use a different tyre.
You can buy turbo specific tyres which so say reduce the noise but i find its not that bad and i have old worn ones so just use those.

Thanks for that, as im only using turbo once or twice a month for about an hour not sure if it's worth the expense of buying seperate wheel for it.

As said above it is a great way of recycling old tyres, no need to buy a special one
