Where do I remember this music from?

    Murder she wrote.

A series about a seemingly innocuous old woman who seemed to attract killings everywhere she went.

Am I right? Do I win?

I concur that it's the theme tune from Murder she wrote.

I am also concerned about the puppies in the packets of biscuits. Does the consumer get their money back if this happens? Or vouchers or something?

    Animal cruelty rabble rabble...

    Murder she wrote.

A series about a seemingly innocuous old woman who seemed to attract killings everywhere she went.

PLOT TWIST: She was always the murderer, pinning crimes on other people. She used the murders as a basis for her books, which no one ever bought, so she kills people and supports herself by solving the crime she committed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

So she was a writer that the cops just brought in as some sort of consultant?

Cos Yknow, she wrote so much about crime?

Angela Lansbury is. She's 88 now.

Yes, like Sherlock Holmes, only a murdering old lady. Or that dude from that show that was also the captain of the spaceship called Serenity and was also a Sheriff in Slither.

Yeah, no matter which way you cut it........She was a dangerous auld wan.

    Sort of an American Banshee.

She turns up & somebody croaks it.

    See Jessica & die!

She has a house in West Cork and has been popping her head up there on and off for the last 40 years.

She's 88 years old, an Irish citizen and loves nothing more than a cup of Barry's tea.

I am actually amazed how I know that seeing as how I never ever watched a single episode.

The music was the cue to change channel as Murder She Wrote was coming on ;)

Music is so evocative, as soon as I heard the tune in the OP I time travelled back to the sofa on Sunday night when I was about 7. Nostalgia gives me the fuzzy feels.

    Ok - here's one ..

Recent and was in charts (I believe)

Drum intro with lyrics including 'it will be alright' or similar - can't for the life of me remember the rest of the lyrics. Quite catchy with a fairly noticeable beat ... Aargh that's all I've got!

    Anyone?
