    Hello,
new to here and I have a question.

I have a 2013 Peugeot partner , bought it new last year, now there is nearly 12000kms on it and the outside of the left rear tyre is wearing fast, there is more left on the 2 front tyres than there is on the rear left.

the van is not taking very heavy loads, no more than than the last van.

has anybody else driving a new berlingo or partner had this trouble, and did it get sorted or do they just eat tyres forever?

No, it's not normal that car eats one of the rear tyres.
Something must be wrong with suspension.
Maybe van hit a pothole at some stage.
Or maybe it was bad since the beginning when it left dealer.

In both options I would go to main dealer to diagnose the problem (most likely check wheel allignment) and hopefully fix it under warranty. (unless it's because of the pothole).

The rear axle on the newer partners/berlingos (+2008 onwards) are solid and there is no ajustment on them...

Peugeot/Citroen should be aware of this problem but wont admit it.!!!

They have a alignment jig that they use to realign up the rear axle which is supposed to sort this problem....

The partners/berlingos i have came across were wearing uneven on the inside.

What you may have to do is bring it into a tyre centre that will carry out a full 4 wheel alignment and if its off then bring the report into peugeot/citroen to see what they will do about it....Best of luck and let u know how you get on with them...;)

it was not a pothole, from what I gather a few other vans have gone back to the garage with the same problem. in the uk it seems to be a big problem also. I am just trying to see is there many people on this island with the same problem and are the main dealers doing anything about it, as they are not giving much away to me

The 2012-2013 vans seem to be the worst years effected.
If the report states the rear axle is off then Get the main dealer to sort it then get it rechecked again to see if it is sorted.

Why did you buy a french van if you think there sh1t...
