Blank email sent automatically?

I was sending emails back and forth to someone and then last night she said she got a blank email... I didn't send it from my computer or phone? I've never had someone tell me this before. Auto responder isn't turned on in my settings - gmail.... Thanks.

Were you using the computer to send the initial mails?
Are you on Internet Explorer?
Are you using a signature?
