El Toro Perique is finally up for sale at HOL. Went ahead and ordered 60 ml bottle as they didn't have any sampler bottles left when I checked. Let's hope it's nice.

Is it a 100% perique? It's a full on and super strong tobacco flavour (with a funky twist).

Highbrow's Perique de Tabac is amazing (e-smokeirl stock it too, that's where I bought it) but it's mixed in with a bit of burley which helps calm it down. If it's a 100% it's going to be very intense!

I'd be interested to know how it treats the auld coils, Highbrow's stuff is ridiculous, never seen a juice cake up an atty so fast.

    Is Highbrow's mixed with Burley?!?

Highbrow's is much stronger, I use it as an additive with other tobaccos.

HoL's is mixed with Virginian leaves and not as much of a hammer to the tastebuds. Delicious stuff. Most coil-unfriendly juice I've ever had but he's apparently put it through their filters twice to calm that down. I guess we'll see what difference that makes.

Yeah it's powerful alright, I vape it on its own but only in short bursts. Tis indeed mixed with Burley.

Based on your comparison I reckon I'm gonna love it, though I might hold out until they start triple filtering. :)

I wonder if the Highbrow stuff I got in a trade was from America and had an extra shot of Perique thrown in because almost every reaction I've seen to it makes it sound mellower than my reaction to it.
Highbrow's description of a medium-bodied ADV doesn't ring true, as tasty as it is.

FlavourArt's Perique Black is a fantastic flavour for mixing, not for the faint hearted.

Nah, it's not a mellow vape by any stretch of imagination and it sure as **** isn't an all day vape. When I say milder I mean compared to a 100% Perique it's definitely less intense, but it it still packs a wallop.
