Hi there, suffering major heartache trying to connect my samsung smart tv to my new horizon tv box. Have manually updated the IP settings, correctly input the password but still can't connect. My phone and tablet connect perfectly but not my tv. Have searched the net for solutions but they all seem to be very technical and don't offer any solutions. Can someone help a limited tech savvy person??

I have no experience of either, but does the tv have an Ethernet port? You could try a wired connection.

Thanks Lprof, the beauty of this new box is that everything is contained in it, no modem needed.

I know that, but there are still Ethernet ports on the box.

Just in case you're unsure of what I'm saying, here's a picture of an ethernet cable and at the back of the horizon box you can see the port that it fits into. As long as your tv has one of these ports too you should be able to set up a wired connection on your tv. Let me know how you get on anyway.

Thank you so much LProf I'll try that and hopefully I'll connect and won't have to cancel my netflix subscription! Thanks for the pictures too, so much easier to understand now

No worries, glad it worked. Odd that you couldn't get the wifi working, but you're better off with a wired connection anyway.
