The car dealership that stood still for 12 years

    This might be of interest to people on here. Its a car dealership in the UK, that closed in 2002 when the owner's wife died. There have been many plans put forward to demolish the place and build houses but they've been refused time and time again, luckily. Link here. I'm told the owner still shows up every now and again, and the cars are actually for sale too. There are some proper gems in there.

    Thing is though most of them should all be in good condition bodywise, the mechanicals can always be done up.

    Of all those cars if I was given the choice I'd take the Maestro. No idea when I last saw one. Drove a Montego turbo from the north of Scotland to London once, frightening turbo lag, but insane acceleration, there's a very rare Maestro version with the same engine, only about 500 were built.
