Not sure if it's a bargain price for a second hand Wii really, but it's not expensive and there's a big library of Wii games out there for cheap and it's a handy thing to be able to stream netflix on in a kids room or something (providing they aren't too hung up on HD!).

    Google Softmod Wii.

Its a very straightforward process now (the modding, not the googling) and I managed with no problems. Lots of different guides out there, but all do things a similar way.

    Be warned,

I have purchased from this seller (estocks) before and the item I received was in very poor condition and not as described. When contacted they asked me to return it but then when I contacted them again nearly two weeks later they told me they had not received it and to wait a further 20 days.

If I had waited I would have past the time eligible to claim via Paypal; luckily I didn't and once I opened a claim and informed Paypal of the situation I received a refund almost immediately.

Just wanted to let others on here know of my experience with this seller.

    Out of approximately 100,000 sales

That is still a lot of negative feedback for just one month

Most of the bad feedback is dvds and cds which you'd expect and slow delivery.

FYI Estock is an offshoot of Boffer. Anyone remember them? They are back as a glorified wholeseller. www.boffer.co.uk for all the info you need.

Were they famous for their bags of crap?

Infamous I would say. They now occasionally have a pallet of crap:D.

Just been to collect mine from the parcel motel around corner from work.

Not tried or tested, I think would would have a problem with that.

But cosmetically I can't fault it, a couple of minor scratches to console, but had to look for them.

Well worth money....IF it works :D

Really disappointed to see Nintendo are knocking off the Online Multiplayer for the Wii and DS soon. Was tempted to pick up one to play Mario Kart and SSBB for the multiplayer and the GC controller support.

I'd nearly be tempted to write a bot that just looks for boffer being mentioned and posts the video

"Ah Christy, how much did you pay for this"

And to follow up my collection post yesterday.
All up and running as of around 11pm last night, this is after I soft modded it as well so no outlay for games
Might want to pick up a 2nd controller but thats about it.

Great BA IMO regardless of what people think of the seller
