Camera for product images

    Hi,

I run a website selling fishing tackle. Basically, the camera on my phone is useless and I'm not due for an upgrade anytime soon.

So, I thought a dedicated camera might be better anyway?

Can anyone recommend a good camera for around €100, either new or used.

Just had quick look on adverts.ie and saw this. It's close to where I live, so handy! Would it be better for product images, then your average smartphone?

    Thanks.

A smartphone should never be used for product images.

Thanks Effects, my HTC is useless anyway.

What about the camera that I linked on adverts.ie? Would it suffice?

Obviously the more I spend, the better image, but don't want to spend a fortune either.

What I do is change camera settings to macro , and no flash.

Always take the snap in bright surroundings with total contrasting background .
