    The Irish Women's Rugby Team are fine strong boned colleens no doubt, but is it going against the feminine nature to be involved in rucks and mauls and such?

    Would you want your girlfriend to be playing hooker like? :)

    That's mad, was just saying to the hubs that I'd quite fancy giving it a go, the game was on and was thinking I'm a bit of a lump and can run quite fast and would I be any good. I can't throw or catch a ball to save me life but I'm pretty sure I could hang onto it for a bit. Just saying.

    Women's rugby is such a non event. The attraction of the sport (played at six nations level) is the power, speed, ball handling skills and precision. The women's game is a slower, weaker, less precise version with tons of handling errors (I'd imagine anyway, havent ever watched it..... the very idea!) :eek:

    Oh yeah and its girls knocking into each other, making themselves less attractive. The whole thing is mad Ted.
