Citroen F98A

    Getting the above DTC on maintenence on a 06 Citroen C4 1.6.

    Google is showing up nothing at all, can anyone shed any light please.

    No MIL on the dash just happened to come across it by accident through the OBD.

    Just realised it's a side light bulb throwing the code.
    I'm sure once I download that it will confirm.

    While I'm here, would you know is there a database for a full list of generic and manufacture specific DTC's?

    Free or paid.

    Not that aware of as i haven't looked im sure one of the mechanical types on here would know though

    Yep F98A is a fault with the front right sidelamp..:)

    F98A Front right sidelamp fault : Not characterised

    Thats all the info i can find on servicebox.
    What are your reading the codes with.?

    Foxwell nt630. Not bad, picked it up during the week and for the price of it I'm very impressed.

    It was indeed.
    Not bad on the live feed, I've only used it on the citroen so far as I don't have the adaptor for either of my cars yet but the live feed is smooth and very little lag when using the graphs.
    Can be a bit slow when asking it to run tests but overall it's quite good.
    I've used readers costing triple what this cost and imo it's not to far behind.
    The unit itself is very clunky and the buttons feel like you need to jump on to push them in but at the price I'm quite happy to overlook the ergonomics for functionality.
