My son normally collects his jsa on a Tuesday but he has an interview in the uk on monday and if successful another 2 on wed and friday so coming back is not a feasible option if successful. Can he collect it any earlier or is it a case of tough luck you've missed it?

His money should still be in the post office on Saturday. If its not then he will have to call into his sw office and fill out a holiday form and then wait for about 3 weeks for his money as sw will have to wait until it is returned from an post. In future he should call into sw office and let them know he wont be there to collect money. Unfortunately there is no provision to cover interview jobs abroad only to fill out a holiday form.

Should be able get it first thing Monday morning. Its says for me to collect every Tuesday on the letter they send out when they start paying you but never any hassle getting it the day before.
