Wiggle and An Post

Got a notification from An Post about my latest Wiggle order three days ago - basically it was in the country and out for delivery. It was a bit unusual as for this value of order I haven't been provided tracking details before - anyway checked to the An Post website and saw it was "delivered" but the for some reason was back at the Portlaise delivery office (thought it was a bit odd that it was in Portlaise, but then didn't think any more about it). next day the same - notification it would be delivered that day and by 6pm showing as "delivered"

Anyway, back in the office today and no sign of the parcel, so I give An Post a call to find out where it is. They eventually got back to me to say the sender had put the wrong label on and therefore An Post had returned it to them ...

... not only that but they said there had been a number of similar problems with this sender (apparently it's packages over 2kg affected) and again they had sent them all back

Not sure whether they have gone to the UK or to the Irish returns address, but it seems a bit odd to me that if there are so many deliveries affected they have sent them all back without trying to come to some kind of arrangement with Wiggle to avoid all the extra hassle of getting stuff back out again

So if you're wondering where that delivery is, there's a fair chance it's not on its way ...

hmm, Ive never had an issue with wiggle. Order a Felt AR4 off them last year and it arrived fine with no hassles. As does everything else I order from them.

In fact I find them much better CRC.

I can't say I've had any problems with wiggle but I prefer CRC as they're generally faster by a day or two.

I agree, I have nothing but trouble with CRC always a problem as I am rural and do not have a road address and the courier partner just leaves it in the depot for days on end.

I'm a regular purchaser from Wiggle and have not had any problems before.
This seems to have arisen out of a change in delivery procedures, and only seems to be affecting stuff over the past few days

I've never had a problem with wiggle, except the last delivery. I've always gone for the free delivery and generally it takes about 5-6 working days. Last time I wanted something within the week so paid €12 to have it delivered within 5 days and tracked. Package sat in wiggle for 4 days and then took 5 days to be delivered when it was dispatched. 9 working days!! You live and learn.
