Omnivore and Vegan eating in Dun Laoghaire

    Some friends and I are doing the Harbour to Harbour walk in aid of Aware on Paddy's day and we're trying to find somewhere in Dun Laoghaire that can cater to both omnivores and vegans. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Going to a purely vegan or vegetarian restaurant is not an option. Thanks in advance.

    I would suggest ringing Travel Cafe (beside Dun Laoghaire DART, right at the Harbour) - some of their dishes look vegan, but I've never enquired personally. Milanos is also right next to Travel and they do great vegan pizzas (just ask for no cheese - their bases are fine). As far as I know Gourmet Burger do a falafel burger that's vegan, though I've never tried them out. They are very close to the DART station too.

    Itsa Bagel has a branch in Dun Laoghaire. They have a 'Kind Veggie Bagel' which is vegan, and they also have a lentil and veg soup which is vegan.
