Just got a bedroom insulated with 100mm boards.

Need to put up curtain rails - I guess I need to go past the insulation boards & into the wall? Is this right - the insulation part does not seem strong enough to support a rail.

Anyone recommend some fitting & how far into the concrete will I need to go?

    Any advice would be welcomed!!

Fit curtain pole with 150mm long frame fixers.Drill holes with an sds drill and use a 300mm long x 8mm thick sds drill bit.Place some red or black tape on the dril bit at 150mm thats how far drill bit t needs to go into the wall until its flush with the warmboard. Then fit the frame fixer rawl plug into the hole and tap it home flush with a hammer. You will need to screw the frame fixers into the wall with a cordless screwgun and a size 3 pozi bit.If you use a smaller pozi bit then you will ruin the frame fixer head.A builders merchants will sell the frame fixers to you.
