Thought a thread to let people know about sheep farming events might be a worthwhile idea? Not just the Republic, but N.I. & UK as well.

Feel free to contribute as & when.

Not sure, they had a sheep event there last year as well, was just at the start of the hot weather, late June I think, was sweltering.

    Anyone got N.I. info sources?

    ?

They had one last summer alright. Was smaller but I felt much better then the previous year. No sales displays etc, just guided walk around the facility and experts discussed all things sheep such grass management ,dosing, lamb performance , etc.they also handed out grossly printed books with details of same. I consult it regularly. Was highly educational and was worthwhile. Hope they hold another one again this year.

Anyone going to the IGA Sheep Conference & Farm walk next Thursday. I'm taking a car load of ones from home. We're just going to check out what having grass actually looks like!!

Anyone for Balmoral show? Have nothing entered so will go along with the kids on Wednesday.

Heading up Thursday getting a lift hopefully on the bus from gurteen. Think there's a crowd going up to Balmoral too.
See Athenry are having an open day on June 21st.
