So, the prices for the M3 and the M4 are finally up on the BMW Configurator.

M3 starts at 99,200, while the M4 is less than extra 1000. (Still quite expensive)

Looks like their power output has been reduced for our market though  For cheaper tax or what?

(By the way, the E92 M3 had 414hp according to the configurator, so it's definitely not E90/E92 spec not updated)

I can't imagine them lowering the power output to save a few bob for our low volume market. Surely if you can afford an m3 or m4 10k up or down wouldnt influence your purchase. A typo I'd say.

It's a typo. For many years the UK and Irish cars are the same spec and on the UK site the M3/M4 have 317kw / 431hp and 204g/km (same as on the German site)

The 7 speed double clutch automated manual is more efficient - 194g/km, so only just outside of the €750 tax bracket

    8.3 l/100km for the m3.
My car doesn't even do that

I would be very surprised if the power wasn't a typo as that's the same power as the e9x M3s but with that said, it's only a 10bhp increase.

it wouldnt just be the motor tax that would be cheaper, then vrt would be too if it was the E750 bracket, which is 24 or 27% afaik...

    I always thought the E92 was 420bhp

It is, that's why I'm surprised that this new one isn't at least 450bhp!

I doubt an M3 can either. The company's all lie about their fuel consumption, a rolling road can never simulate real world driving.

Down a hill maybe you'd get that level of consumption, I had one for a year and a half, they're horrendous on fuel, tax and penalty points...:)

So long as it keeps you on €750 tax pa I'd stfu tbh.....

My new car costs €1809 pa now. ... mind you it was €78k cheaper to buy. ... That'd buy a lot of road tax/petrol.....
