    Just setting this up and a few queries:

    I connected a 2Tb drive to the unit and indexed all the folders which I can see on FritzNAS.

    I see a media player and files open in Windows Media Player.

    Can't seem to get at these via Windows Explorer to drag and drop elsewhere?

    If you're using DLNA the files will be read only, you probably need to use FTP

    Turned off Media Server...can explorer get at the files in any way.

    Typing /Fritz.nas brings you into its web page.

    Its 500Gb and has been indexing for a day or so by now..

    You probably have to figure out how to set up SMB. It seems to support it.
