In 2010 my insurance was up for renewal but as I had access to works vehicles I sold the car and didn't renew the insurance. At that point I would have had 4 years ncd. Now I'm looking at getting a new motor and will need new insurance. I rang 123.ie for proof of ncd and they said after 2 years of not being used on a policy it usually expires. They gave me the proof of what I had but it states that it was from 2010. She said that some insurers will still accept it but 123 isn't one of them. Does anyone here know who might still accept it?

I get that and wouldn't ask normally, but she said some insurers would do it but she wouldn't say who. Just thought people might have experienced the same or similar.
