Anyone out there ever have two cross compliance inspections in a 12 month period? They were here last March and lost €4K SFP. Now they are due again tomorrow.

In the past 12 months, we had cross compliance, AEOS, Bord Bia, HSA (even though no incident occurred prior or since) and Revenue Audit.

We're not as bad as that, did you ask them why? Sometimes ordering two replacement eartags for the same animal at the same time can trigger an inspection, also coco inspection doesn't help. What did they do you for the last time?

If you have a penalty on a cross compliance, it's not unusual to have another inspection the following year

You are having a local authority nitrates and not a cross compliance inspection as they do not take place this time of the year,if you are having another inspection you were penalised last year and it may be was for pollution or over stocking and this puts you in the high risk end.

As for having an inspection if you order a pair of tags is myth, there are lots of risk areas and you can be picked at random,
As for the bord bia inspection is that not a regular inspection?.
