I have a new strong light A9 on a bike.
Was out this morning and discovered when I got home that the headset is very loose.

being a technical numpty, is this something I can tighten myself with a set of wrenches or should I leave it to the pros?

I don't fancy the bars coming away in my hands on a descent!

It's much easier with the correct wrenches but not a difficult job.

Cheers, looks like even I could manage that.

Must try to get my hands on some wrenches.

Do threaded headsets tend to come loose much?

I have a 1" record on another bike and it's never needed any attention.

The a9 has covered less than 1500k I'd say
