    Hi Guys

Looking for bit of advice, my kid(13) is looking to start basic computer programing etc. Just to start off at low cost to see if he will actually use this in the future I was looking at the Raspberry Pi and some start of starter bundle.

Not just looking for the hardware but is there a bundle with set up guides(Dummies for Raspberry) type thing to gte him up and running to see if he is interested......

Was something I started years ago myself on ZX Spectrum 128K when you spent about 2 days writing code for a circle to draw on the screen:eek::eek::eek::eek: twas magic I tell ya!!!

Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

I just bought a pi from Amazon and they have starter kits that come with all the hardware you need to get up and running. There are different packages depending on what you plan on doing with it. Delivery time is super fast as well. I got mine via parcel motel and got it 2 days after ordering.

Add for guides I think I saw an idiots guide to the pi

If you search Amazon.co.uk for Raspberry Pi on the first page of results there are 3 or 4 starter kits that contain everything you need to get going. The SD cards even come pre-loaded with the NOOBS OS.

I turned mine into a Spotify server so all I needed was the PI, Power Supply, 8GB SD Card, Wifi Dongle and a Case.

If you are planning on connecting to a TV then you will need a HDMI cable, Keyboard and Mouse as well.

Also I should point out that this is the Android Forum and this isn't Android related....
