    Hello,

Over a two years ago I had a car accident (Nissan Micra, 2004 K13). The steering wheel became irresponsive when taking a turn and the whole front was damaged. A year after the accident I received a letter from Nissan requesting me to bring the car to be cheked as "there is a possibility that the steering wheel nut-may not be tightened sufficiently". The car had been at that stage written off as after the accident was behond economic repair.

I was wondering if anyone else have had similar experience.

    Thanks

sounds mad! but, not sure what you're hoping to do now though? from your timeline, you got the letter a year ago? surely then would have been the time to act? :o

Thanks for the reply Wossack, lawyers say I could have an easy case as my report to the insurance company done in 2012 reflected that the accident was due to a problem with the steering wheel. The letter from Nissan received in 2013 confirmed that that model had a problem with the steering wheel... The day before the accident I took the car to the garage because the accelerator wasnt working properly but the accelerator was not the cause of the accident. I'm unsure of how to proceed because if I loose I have to pay a good bit of money to cover the legal cost of the other parts.... money that I dont have... So I was wondering if there was someone around with same problem and what did they do...
