    Has anyone any experience with these,girlfriend wants rid of her 97 colt,engine etc is all perfect,needs new tyres and battery though!

    They give you very little for your car, prob better off to stick in on donedeal. Id imagine it'd make a few extra quid for her.

    Yep, you'll get bottom dollar, i'd throw her on adverts you'll have her sold in a day no probs

    These places buy cars dirt cheap in order to resell them on to the trade, etc while making a profit. There would be little or no profit in it for them on a 17 year old car. I could see them offering you €50/75 for it in the hope they would get it's value in scrap metal.

    If it were me I'd get a second hand battery for it, put it on donedeal and see what offers you get for it.

    20e for a 2nd hand battery so worth putting 1 in to sell on cheap
