Or is the avail/liv for ladies only, deft for men or no difference??

Which recommend for first road bike? New or 2nd hand.
Im 5'2" frame 50cm find it hard to find 2nd hand 50cm.

Also I really like the option of brake on the front bar and the drop side bars I notice only on avail.

I have seen avail 5 2nd hand but would the higher number be heavier?

    Thanks in advance

my suggestion is try to got ot a giant dealer and try to size your self properly my wifes 5'2 herself she is actually XS/or S in the avail but she finds xs better as she likes the saddle height to be high..... shes got the avail 1btw, all in all good bike, the higher number actually represents much lower groupset and wheelset on it as far as i know.

You can fit the crosstop levers (the small brake levers on the flat horizontal part of the bar) to a defy. Find what fits you best and then ask your bike shop to add the levers.

Just need to get a better saddle, the current seat seem more suitable for male cyclists or maybe its just me, i need to get used to it, cycle more often been off the saddle since last july. any tips for saddle seat.

Good choice, I've a Defy 1, one year old nearly, my first proper bike, and I love it.
Giant Defy range are great value for money, well made bikes.
    Best of luck. :D

Specialized Oura is a very popular women's saddle or the Ruby if you like a flatter saddle. Can try both out before you buy.

No idea but if I have to guess I think under €12.
