Since half the money is due on satisfactory installation, has anyone got any quick tips on what to check to be happy with how the work was completed?

Is it new build or retro fit?

Should have been more specific, it is replacement of wooden single glazed windows, cavity wall if that makes a difference

Most important is what to check before ordering. If you're going with the cheapest quote, like many do, don't expect too much. If you have bargained the supplier down, are the windows still the same spec as original quote.

Well that's done and dusted now considering I have half the money paid out, very happy with the windows which were ordered, just concerned about the installation mostly
