Eyebrows over plucked

    First post for me :)

I hate my eyebrows. They are too thin and hold no shape at all for my face.

I know I need to let them grow, but its hard done as they look ridiculous. I have family occasions coming up so it makes it even harder to let them grow back. For some reason I can't help plucking them, and keeping them the shape they are.

Any tips for me to finally get the brows looking nice?

Leave them be to grow back and then get them threaded by a good threader. If you are in Dublin I can PM you some recommendations.

My brows are like bushes so I've been getting them done for years.

How long will it take to get them to grow back fully?

Any recommendations to help them along, or make them grow quicker?

I am tempted to get a fringe at this stage to hide them :P

My girl advises to rub olive oil into them every night before bed for about four weeks

A good threader can make any brows look great.

I basically had no eyebrows, as you can see in the top picture. Just drew a random line above my eye and that was that.

    Bought this product
    http://www.boots.ie/en/RapidBrow-Eyebrow-Enhancing-Serum_1252036/

twice actually.....and this is the result. The second picture is obviously them grown and not plucked at all, so they are obviously a bit all over the place! I did get them threaded into a nice shape after!

I'll have to get it again, I've over plucked them again and they're not very full looking anymore :( Im an idiot, Ill stick to threading after this though! On the plus side, this product is 3 for 2 and I used up 2 to get the effect above.

I saw a difference after the first one, that lasted about 6 weeks...maybe more. The second one is when I really noticed a change, another few weeks of that and they were like someone else's eyebrows completely. They looked like sh*t as you can see :o but then I was able to get them threaded and they looked great.

I read reviews of it online and it seems to work well for loads of people. Some get amazing results, most get good results, and a few had little difference.

Stop plucking them yourself for a start. I find threading gives a much nicer finish than waxing. Tell them that you are trying to thicken them as well, so they dont take as much hair off.

Try putting olive oil/Vaseline on your eyebrows in between, and take multivitamins as well, I find this really helps my hair growth.

I over-plucked for 17 years and left me with two skinny little maggot eyebrows. It took me three years to get them back to what they were (only more shapely not uni-brow :D ) Started getting them threaded and painfully watched them grow and did not touch them at all!!!! Not once but everyone notices my brows now and compliments them. No need for HD brows for me.
