My company has offered me voluntary severance. My question is if i accept can i claim social welfare? I am paying Class PRSI A1 so i would have no trouble with a buildup of stamps. If i leave my job voluntarily can i claim unemployment benefit?

Also i am currently living in Dublin but wish to move back home if the severance deal goes through as i paying ridiculous rent. Would living in my home house have anything to do with claiming the full unemployment benefit after changing counties?
