If you are prone to anxiety attacks, this may not be the best film clip for you to watch. Russian and Ukranian, Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov climb the stairs to the top of the worlds' 2nd tallest building and then proceed to climb out to the end of a crane that is attached to the top of the building. It starts getting hard to watch @ 3:00

I once fell 40' rock climbing and hit the deck. I have edge anxiety now...this would not be a sport for me :)

    Fair play to them.

I rolled off the bed once and onto the floor, I have anxiety about leaving said bed now.

I'd love to do that, providing I had a parachute to parachute down once I got to the top. I'd be too exhausted to climb all the way back down.

Up in the lift, up some steps, out a few planks and Bobs your uncle. Once you go past the third floor, you're dead if you fall anyway. The rest is just step-tistics. I don't get the big fear, or fascination.

    True enough.

But at that height you'd have time to realize that you're already dead and all the associated horrible feelings.
You'd also have that horrible falley feeling like when you fall off a building in GTA.

The falley feeling is surprisingly quick, and your life does not flash before your eyes.

Whatever about them lads climbing it, imagine having to work up there day after day, now that takes balls...

For the Shanghai tower, even if only half way up you'd still get a good 30 seconds of unadulterated terror.

10 meters per second and all that.

Why were you climbing 40 foot rocks?

I played Assassin's Creed 3 and almost crapped my pants when climbing up the outside of that skyscraper. This video wll almost certainly not be watched by me

Good chance that you would black out before impact..i don't particularly remember the impact, but then again I was knocked unconscious by it.

It doesn't. It just takes a lack of imagination.

Or a lack of balls, if your a woman that is, I bottled it at the 40ft in sandycove, too much balls being the reason.

here is a clip of the descent.. I think the high-5 at the end is a bit unneccessary. You can only flirt with death for so long.
