Okay, apologies for the Hyperbole, but I may end up killing someone if I have to interact with QuickBooks much more (okay, enough with the Hyperbole).

All I want to know is if I can import from QuickBooks 2008 pro to their online version.

But, they only seem to have a 'ask the community' (which I cannot get to work) or FAQs.

Totally frustrating. It's probably grand as a system if used from scratch and everything goes okay, but god help you if you need any help.

Between banking and now software companies, they really don't seem to value customer relations. :(

You can close off the year, back up data and import data into online version from what I remember
I never found them any better or worse than most of the others out there other than Sage who have real people to talk to but charge you an arm & a leg to do do

What about if they are currently mid way through the year?

What I want to be able to keep is the aged debtors detail and as much nominal history as possible.

Yeah, Sage online is the one I'm thinking about, and it would be the same monthly cost as changing to QuickBooks online and ... I'd get to talk to a person.

I do agree that Sage support can be expensive, and I've rarely had to use them except where data got corrupt (and luckily was in contract) or at set up stage. That's all you should really need support for.
