Flashing an English ROM on Chinese phone

    I bought a Lenovo A820 online and its usable but still a lot of Chinese stuff on there. Its hard to navigate certain things, like I cant figure out how to put apps on it or even transfer my contacts. So far I can only use it for calls and texts.
    Ive looked online and it seems like its a good idea to flash a new English ROM onto it. Im in no way capable of doing this, what Im wondering is there anywhere I could get it sorted ?

    Hi Paulmerson,

    Just looking at this site yesterday which might help you, it's XDA developers site, and they discuss all the techy stuff with Chinese phones. The page I'm sending you is a search for "rooting phones" so just pick the most recent thread and read away. Good luck and let us know how you get on coz I've been looking at the Tmart site and salivating over the cheap smart phones at a ridiculous price, so I'd be very interested to hear how you faired with this one.
